At C&G Tax Service, we can provide our clients with a number of financial and tax planning services. Some of our offerings include income tax preparation and planning, payroll management, financial statement preparation, financial analysis services, and IRS representation. While many of our services are designed with business clients in mind, we can also handle our clients’ personal tax issues like filing their returns or defending them during a state or federal audit. We also employ Spanish-speaking advisors in-house. In addition, we recognize the value of technology and other financial resources for a tax firm. Because of this, we continually invest in our own business infrastructure, including top-of-the-line computers and a deep network of professional connections.

Our firm was founded in 1996 to help the people of the Cypress and Northwest Houston find their financial planning solutions. Four years ago, our current owner, Larry S. Metiver, bought the firm. Today, we maintain a staff of four tax professionals, two of whom are Enrolled Agents (EAs). An EA is a tax professional with specialized knowledge and expertise who has been licensed by the Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS. That’s different from CPAs, who are registered with their individual state accounting boards.
